2009 was a year of miscues and surprises. Last year I made a few predictions as far as what would be the best games of 2009. Some never saw the light of day, (Aliens Colonial Marines, Jumpgate Evolution, Starcraft 2, Diablo 3, and God of War 3) and some simply just didn't deliver what I felt the game promised (Killzone 2 – bad controls, and the Conduit – horrible lag, bugs, and gameplay). In the end it seemed that some of the best games were games not even on my radar like Uncharted 2. I do have to toot my own horn about one game I knew wasn't going to be a huge game (as far as PC goes); its a game that even I didn't realize how badly they could screw it up - Modern Warfare 2.

This year, I am returning to put my predictions on what I feel will deliver in 2010. You will notice that I have half as many this year as I am much more cautious as to what will be the games to check out. There will be many others that I am sure people feel should be on the list, but again, I am more cautious as to what I feel will have the staying power to be the best games that people will return to over and over again.
